Happy 6th Birthday Zachary

I know it's kinda "cheesey" to say...but...I can't believe my baby is six!  I had a lot of fun making his Shark Attack Cake and it made it safely to the bowling alley.

The party was at Fat Cats...bowling, pizza, and fun! fun! fun!

I'm pretty sure his favorite present was the Lego Indiana Jones game.  Just look at that smile!

Happy Birthday Zach, we love you!

Blue Angels

Grandpa Leavitt took us to the air show this past weekend.  The boys (including Shawn) had a blast looking through all the different types of aircraft on display and talking to the pilots.  Shawn was very disappointed when he found out that he was too old to go into pilot training for the Air National Gaurd.  (Shawn's sad, Melinda's happy.)  The Blue Angels were definitely the highlight of the show...very cool to watch.  Zach bought a Special Forces dog tag and is ready to join the Navy and be a pilot.

Stewart Falls Hike

This was our Pioneer Day celebration (and by "our" I mean the guys, cause I was at work).  They did a day hike to Stewart Falls.  And from the looks of their dirt caked shoes and clothes when they got home, they had a great time.

Here's just a few of the pics that I finally gat around to posting.

The boys went to Lagoon for the first time this summer.  Brett is tall enough now to go on all the big roller coasters, and he did.  He said his favorite coaster was the Spider.

Shawn and Hannah McQueen at Lagoon.

Waiting for the Fireworks to start.

My friend Kristina got married on July 5th.  She was beautiful and happy.

Time's Flyin'...

I know that I get anxious when my friends don't post for awhile, and now I'm guilty of doing the same.  I suppose I could blame it on being a working mom...there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day or the week to get everything done that I want...but what mom isn't "working".

There really hasn't been anything too exciting to tell.  The Fourth Of July was fun.  We spent it in Twin Falls with our family.  I love watching the fireworks there because we have the best spot (thanks to the McQueen family).  We sit right across the street from where they set them off, so they are exploding right above your heads, and I really think it makes them so much more beautiful by being so close-up.

We've seen a few movies and gone to baseball games and the guys even went to Lagoon.  So we are keeping busy and just enjoying our summer-family-fun-time!
