It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I love the holidays! This year I was especially excited...I even talked Shawn into putting the tree up on Halloween Night...but we didn't decorate it until Thanksgiving, and he made me keep the curtains closed.

We've has a lot of snow so far this year...too bad it's Christmas Eve and now there's not a flake on the ground. At least the boys were able to enjoy it while it lasted.

Check Out This Picture

I don't know if anyone has seen this picture...but I thought it was Amazing! Last week the Provo Tabernacle burned down and firefighters found this picture. It was completely charred except for the image of Christ.

Happy 8th Birthday Zach

It's hard to believe that my baby boy is EIGHT and getting baptized. He has a very special place in my heart. It was an amazing day!
Zach's cousins...Dallin and Danica...came up from Las Vegas to be with him.

Zach was baptized the day after his 8th birthday (July 31, 2010) so we had a big family party in the backyard. He loves to ride his new bike around the neighborhood...it was his favorite present.
Grandma Benson came in second with the stunt kite (inspired by Cody McQueen :)

Hallelujah my Blog is working again!!

Well...it's about to hit the two year mark since my last post! So I'm hoping to be able to keep up from now on.

Not much has changed in the past two years...except our boys are growing like weeds. Brett just finished 3rd grade and Zach is done with 1st. They both love their new school (Vista Elementary) and are making a lot of new friends. We have moved to Taylorsville, Utah. We are in a very nice home in a great neighborhood. Shawn loves working for BG and is doing great. I just hit my 2 year anniversary at Discover. While I'm working...I've been crocheting ALOT! I have started making these animal creations. Shawn calls the Pocket Pets. They can also be purses (a very big hit with little girls). They're cute and fun and I've even been able to start selling them. They were very popular at work and I sold over 40 for Easter! So now I make them for fun and try to sell them at work and at craft fairs.
